We will play a captain’s choice (a.k.a. scramble) format. Each member of the team will drive. The team then chooses which drive (and subsequent shots) is best. All team members play from that chosen spot without changing surfaces. The only restriction is that a team must use at least three drives from each player. Remember to purchase your mulligans at check-in. Only four mulligans per foursome may be purchased. Teams may use the mulligans however they wish. For example, if your team purchases four mulligans, you may use those mulligans for any player/s.

In the event of a tie for the lowest team score, first place will be awarded to the team with the lowest score on the number 1 handicap hole (and if necessary, the subsequent lowest handicap holes).

Two flights will be determined by posting all team scores (low to high) and dividing the total number of teams by two, thereby creating a lower and higher score flight. An odd number team will be added to the higher scoring flight.

In addition to the individual trophies, the Mantua Cup will be engraved with the names of the first place team in the lower scoring flight and proudly displayed in the McLaughlin’s home.
