Event History
The tournament is held in memory of Ryan McLaughlin, an eighth-grader at Frost who lived in Mantua when he lost his courageous battle against leukemia in 1999. The tournament will benefit The Young Hearts Foundation in its support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers. The Young Hearts is a group of mostly teenagers from Mantua and surrounding neighborhoods who each year raise funds to fight leukemia.
Come out and support this worthy cause while having fun with your friends and neighbors. Don’t miss out! Form a team or we’ll put one together for you. The tournament is a friendly scramble format.
Don’t play golf? Can't make the whole day? Please join us for dinner and festivities afterwards. We need sponsors and contributors as well as golfers. Your support of this event will help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society battle the number one child-killing disease in America. Help us show that “MANTUANS MAKE A DIFFERENCE!”
